These terms govern your use of Tankly, a fuel tracking and trip planning app for iOS, developed by Geoffrey (referred to here as "we" or "the developer"). By downloading or using Tankly, you agree to these terms.
This agreement is between you and the developer - not Apple. Your license to use Tankly is limited to Apple-supported devices that you own or control, and the developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app, its content, and any maintenance or support. If Tankly fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund, and Apple will have no further warranty obligation to you. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
Tankly is provided for your personal use to log fuel fill-ups, track mileage, and plan trips. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter - Tankly's calculations (mileage, cost estimates, fuel-stop suggestions) are based on that data and are estimates, not guarantees.
Tankly's core features - fill-up logging, mileage tracking, and trip planning - are free to use. Offline backup/restore and iCloud sync across your devices are optional Tankly Pro features, unlocked with a single one-time purchase, not a subscription - you pay once and keep the feature for as long as you use the app.
This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system as a non-consumable purchase. We never see or handle your payment details - Apple does. Refunds, billing questions, and purchase history are handled by Apple, not the developer; you can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com or your device's purchase history.
Any data you enter into Tankly - fill-ups, vehicle details, trip plans, receipt photos, and notes - remains yours. We don't claim ownership over it, and as described in the Privacy Policy, it's stored on your device and synced only through your own iCloud account.
Tankly is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its estimates (mileage, fuel cost, trip planning) will be perfectly accurate - treat them as a helpful reference, not a substitute for your own judgment.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tankly, including reliance on any estimate or calculation it produces.
Tankly relies on Apple's CloudKit for optional data sync, Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit) system for the one-time purchase described above, and may use Apple Maps or related frameworks for trip planning and routing. Your use of those underlying services is also subject to Apple's own terms.
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use of Tankly after an update means you accept the revised terms.
You can stop using Tankly at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to discontinue the app at our discretion.
